- Was special guest referee for the steel cage match at Power-Fest 97.
- Cody was named an honorary PLW World Champion for his promoting of PLW's fundraising events.
- In 1990 and 1991, "Talking Wrestling" aired matches from the Outdoor Wrestling Federation, the precurser to Power League Wrestling.
